St Sebastian’s R.C. Primary is a Roman Catholic Primary school provided by the Diocese of Salford and is maintained by Salford City Council as a Voluntary Aided school. The school’s Governing Body Board is the admissions authority and is responsible for taking decisions on applications and admissions. For the school year commencing September 2025, the Governing Board has set its planned admissions number at 30.
Reception 2025
Parents of children born between 01/09/2020 and 31/08/2021 will be able to apply online for admission into Reception 2025.
The closing date for primary applications is 15th January 2025.
Parents will be notified on the 16th April 2025 of the allocations.
**No child will automatically transfer from our Nursery to Reception but will be considered using the same admission process and criteria as those who have not attended the Nursery.
Nursery 2025
We have a 26 place nursery made up of full time places.
Parents of children born between 01/09/2021 and 31/08/2022 will be able to apply online for admission into Nursery 2025.
The closing date for primary applications is 15th January 2025.
Parents will be notified on the 16th April 2025 of the allocations.

The co-ordination of admissions arrangements for Reception to Year 6 is undertaken by the local authority.
Applications for school places are made to the Local Authority Admissions Department at:
www.salford.gov.uk/school-admissions-online
From here you can apply for Nursery, Primary and Secondary places and also for school transfers within the year.
